Numar Lopez has been coaching youth, high school and collegiate soccer for the last 20 years. His last coaching stint was at Johnson & Wales University where Coach Lopez guided the team to 4 conference tournaments including two semi-final finishes in 2008 and 2014 . During this time, his teams accomplished many notable academic, athletic and civic milestones: earning a combined 3.41 team GPA; receiving 4 consecutive National Soccer Coaches of America Academic Awards; having 25 players placed in The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) All-Academic Team; 15 players receiving All GNAC Athletic Honors including the 2011 and 2013 Rookie of The Year Selections.
At the club level Coach Lopez has spent 17 years coaching both in Massachusetts and Rhode Island winning 2 Massachusetts State Cup Championships and 1 Soccer Rhode Island State Championship. He has been instrumental in helping place many student-athletes across all divisions of the NCAA.
Coach Lopez is dedicated to the growth of the individual through soccer, his core concept of coaching is found in the belief to develop long lasting relationships with friends, family & teammates that are not afraid to challenge one another to become stronger individuals by developing character, leadership and excellence on a daily basis.
